The 体育菠菜大平台 Ad/PR Club functions as a small-scale advertising agency seeking real businesses as clients. It promotes better understanding of the mutual functions of advertising and public relations, encourages professionalism and networking with professionals, helps develop the individual communication skills of members, and promotes fellowship.
Members host speakers, coordinate seminars, attend career days, enjoy field trips, do community service projects, and participate in events sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

The 体育菠菜大平台 Forensics team is the competitive speech team on campus, offering students a chance to practice their analytical skills through public speaking events and interpretation of literature. We compete in the American Forensics Association circuit, primarily traveling to tournaments around Nebraska and Kansas. Students who qualify in their events will be able to compete at the AFA National Tournament in the spring.

Lambda Pi Eta is a student organization which recognizes, fosters and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement in the field of communication.
Lambda Pi Eta provides students with the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas, to promote professional development among communication majors and to establish and maintain close relationships. Students in Mass Media (S.I.M.M.) is an honorary organization for journalism/mass communication and multimedia students. Its purpose is to provide students with networking and out-of-class educational opportunities through speakers, workshops and field trips.
S.I.M.M. also provides service to the community, the university and the department through philanthropy and other activities.
